How long have you been in your job at Grand View?

I began my career teaching grades 5-8 at Graceland Christian School in Indiana; In 1998, I became the first administrator for Warren County Christian School (now Victory Christian) in Indianola where I also taught in grades K-6 through the years I was there.  Additionally, I taught Bible and music and wrote curriculum for Stepping Stones Pre-School in Norwalk for two years, and have been a private supervising teacher for homeschool students for the past fifteen years. I worked as a preschool associate and substitute teacher the 2nd semester in 2017 at GVCS and am excited to be working in the library this year.

What brought you to GV or why did you decide to work here?

Being surrounded by a library full of books and helping kids learn to love reading is the perfect job for me!  I chose to pursue a teaching career in Christian schools because I see the value in integrating biblical truth throughout every part of the education process.
