Testimony of Salvation:

I was saved at the age of 17 at Airport Baptist Church. I was convicted that the life I was living did not align with the Bible. I understood that because of my many sins, I needed forgiveness. Because Jesus Christ died for my sins, I could be forgiven. I repented of my sins and asked the Lord to forgive me and come into my life.

Things you enjoy doing when you’re not teaching:

I enjoy gardening and fixing (simple) things around the house.

How many years at GV/GPBS?

I have been teaching since 1991; this is my fifteenth year at Grand/view.

What brought you to GV or why did you decide to work here?

GV was looking to expand its course offerings in the area of technology. GV is close to my wife’s family as well as mine. Living so far away would only allow me to be “the uncle that lives in Ohio.” I desired to know my nephews and for my kids to know their grandparents.

What’s the most rewarding thing about working at Grand View?

I enjoy being used in the school in a variety of capacities.

Guilty pleasure?

Why did you choose to become a teacher?

Every day and every year are different. I became a Christian school teacher so that I could be used by the Lord to minister to His children.

What makes Grand View different?

The emphasis on personal Christian growth and personal outreach separate this school from even other Christian schools.
