Your position:

Elementary Choir

Testimony of salvation:

I grew up in a small town in MS and rarely attended church. We were certainly in the Bible Belt, but the gospel seemed to never penetrate my family. After years of wrestling with the Lord, attending church on occasion, and just running from the truth, I finally surrendered and relinquished my life to Him at age 20. I fell in love with Jesus, His Word, and His people. My life completely changed and I began running to Him for everything.

Church:

Keystone Church, Ankeny

College/Degree:

Bachelors, Music Education, Delta State University

Emphasis: Vocal K-12

Certified Kindermusik Teacher

Family:

Shortly after surrendering to Christ, I met my precious husband who had grown up in a Christian family. He, along with a few other key people, really discipled me and helped me grow in my faith. We have been married now for 18 years and have four beautiful children - Bella, Gabriel, Isaiah, and Lila.

We moved to Iowa from Honduras three years ago, after having served as missionaries to a foster home at the top of a peaceful mountain outside the capitol city of Tegucigalpa. We were blessed to live there for four years and stand on the frontlines, spiritually, for the children who were a part of that ministry. Prior to that, we lived in MS and TX. We helped plant churches, worked in children and youth ministry, and lead worship.
