The Thunder volleyball team begins regional play on Monday, Oct 18TH. They will play Martensdale St. Marys @ Martensdale at 7pm. ALL TICKETS FOR regional volleyball must be purchased online. There will be no ticket sales at the game. Please remember that ALL spectators in kindergarten and up must purchase an online ticket in order to attend any regional volleyball matches. There are a couple of different ways to purchase your tickets online: 1) Click https://ia.varsitybound.com/sports/vb/2021-22/tickets to visit the IGHSAU online ticketing page through Varsity Bound. You will need to scroll until you find the game labeled Martensdale-St. Marys vs Grand View Christian and purchase tickets for that specific match-up. 2) Login to your Varsity Bound app on your mobile device (make sure you have followed our school). Locate our volleyball match-up against Martensdale St. Marys and select Purchase Tickets to begin the ticket purchasing process (see attachment for example of what it looks like in the app). If you have any questions, please contact Janessa Murphy at email@example.com
Walk-a-Thon is happening TODAY at the elementary! PS-K will start at 12:00 and finish around 12:45. 1-2 will start at 1:15 and will finish around 2:00. Parents do not need to come inside the building to check in; just head on out to the playground area it's time to begin. Due to very limited parking and lots of students participating, we are asking that families please carpool to limit the number of cars in the parking lot. Overflow parking will be available as needed at the Community Center. Please park near the playground at the community center, to allow close parking for their events inside the center. **Please also do not come too early, as this will complicate the parking situation as well. Students are allowed to leave with their parent/guardian after the walk, but they must sign-out with their students' teacher prior to leaving for the day. Any older sibling leaving early must sign out in the school office. The community center has graciously allowed us to use their parking lot for overflow as needed. If you are utilizing their space, please park as far away as possible from their building. We want to make sure the senior citizens they will be serving that day have easy access to the building. Thank you for being considerate in this way.
